During the fieldwork, the weather was cloudy to rainy (drizzle). The lithologies in the area were volcanic rocks (Bataan Volcanic Complex) and recent alluvial deposits.

MISAMIS, OCCIDENTAL

Our team completed the fieldwork of the geological and engineering geological part for the proposed hydropower project in Misamis Occidental. The observed lithology in the project was mostly volcanic with pyroclastic rocks which are probably part of the Malindang Volcanics.

PEÑABLANCA, CAGAYAN VALLEY

The team completed the georesistivity survey for the groundwater determination of a proposed deep well in Brgy. Camasi, Peñablanca, Cagayan Valley. The lithology of the area is composed of interbeds of sandstone-siltstone-shale and probably part of the Ilagan Formation.

BOLJOON, CEBU

The team conducted an engineering geological and geohazard assessment for a 4-story resort hotel in Boljoon, Cebu. The lithology of the area is part of the Carcar Limestone Formation.

CURRIMAO, ILOCOS NORTE

The team recently conducted 11 points of soil resistivity test in Currimao, Ilocos Norte for grounding purposes of a 65-MW Solar Power Project. The lithology in the area is mostly composed of sand and part of the Quaternary Alluvium.

MOALBOAL, CEBU

Our team completed the geological mapping and Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) survey for the area development in Moalboal, Cebu.

BUENAVISTA, QUEZON

Another successful geo-resistivity (VES) survey for groundwater in Buenavista, Quezon. The rocks in the area are mostly sedimentary rocks, predominantly limestone.

GAMU, ISABELA

Another geo-resistivity survey result confirmed by the latest drilling and pumping test in our project area in Brgy. Rizal, Gamu, Isabela. The client were satisfied on the latest results.

CAGAYAN PROVINCE

Our team completed the geo-resistivity survey for groundwater in 8 barangays (Brgys. Callungan, Dacal, Dagueray, Dammang, Kittag, Marzan, Nangulonan) of Sanchez Mira, Cagayan Province. During the fieldwork, the weather was sunny to cloudy. The survey areas were mostly in the rice field.

BAGABAG, NUEVA VIZCAYA

Our geo-resistivity survey results were confirmed by the latest drilling and pumping tests in our two project areas in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya. The client was satisfied with the latest results.

SAGUDAY, QUIRINO PROV.

Just completed Geo-resistivity survey for groundwater in Brgy. Magsaysay, Saguday, Quirino Province. Initial results indicate 2 possible horizons of water- bearing aquifers.

MANOLO FORTICH, BUKIDNON

The team completed the fieldworks of the geological and engineering geological mapping for a proposed hydropower project in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.

ATIMONAN, QUEZON

After more than 14 months of hard work doing geologic mapping, slope stability investigation, structural analysis and landslide mitigation in Atimonan, Quezon for the largest power plant (1,200 MW) of its kind, the dedicated and skilled geologists of BBGS finally finished the Slope Face Mapping and Slope Stability Study and Mitigation.

CAGAYAN PROVINCE

We have just completed a Thermal Conductivity/ Resistivity Survey for a Solar Power Project in Cagayan Province. A Thermal conductivity/resistivity survey is done to determine the soil's conductivity/ resistivity to heat, which is used in the design and application of underground power transmission and distribution systems, usually for Solar, wind, and NGCP projects.

TABUK CITY, KALINGA

A successful geo-resistivity (VES) survey for a potential groundwater source of Brgys. Bulo, Cudal, Nambaran, Lucog, Dupligan, and Malalao in Tabuk City, Kalinga. The lithology is composed of interbeds of sandstone and shale and is probably part of the Lubuagan Formation.

SAN MATEO, RIZAL

Our geotechnical drilling project in San Mateo, Rizal for a Sewage Treatment Plant. We also did soil resistivity tests and seismic refraction survey.

VILLAVERDE & BAGABAG, NUEVA VIZCAYA

A successful geo-resistivity (VES) survey for a potential groundwater source of Brgys. Bintawan Norte, and Poblacion in Villaverde, Nueva Vizcaya, as well as Brgys. Pogonsino and Tuao South in Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya. The lithology of the area are interbeds of tuff and sandstone which is probably part of the Palali Formation.

BATANGAS

Resource estimation of available armor rocks in a quarry site in Batangas. Geologists determine the approximate volume by going to the top of the quarry at about 400 meters followed by refreshing buko juice at the end of the day's work.
