Nationwide Projects, from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao Areas.
EZPERANZA, MASBATE
The team completed the geo-resistivity (VES) survey for a potential groundwater source of a private lot in Brgy. Tunga, Esperanza, Masbate. The lithology of the area is coralline limestone and probably part of the Masbate Limestone Formation.
MURCIA, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL
Geological and geotechnical mapping for a proposed hydropower project in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
LAGUINDINGAN
Sinkholes determination using geo-resistivity survey for a proposed techno park project in Laguindingan. The team identified the lithology as coralline limestone which is part of the Indahag Limestone Formation. Voids, fractures, and joints were also observed in the rocks as shown in the photos.
CEBU
Our team completed the field survey part of the engineering geology and geohazard assessment for the proposed housing development in Cebu. The observed lithology in the area was basalt(weathered, altered, fractured) and probably part of the Cansi Volcanics.
DASMARIÑAS, CAVITE
The team completed the geo-resistivity (VES) survey for a potential groundwater source of a private lot in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
ISABELA
Completed geo-resistivity (VES) survey located on Agricultural Land in Isabela for the possible water source.
QUEZON PROVINCE
Our field geologists are busy looking at possible geological structures that may pose danger to the project site development in Atimonan, Quezon Province.
CEBU CITY
Our field geologist is currently conducting the engineering geological and geohazard assessment located in North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.
TAYSAN, BATANGAS
Our team conducted the geo-resistivity (VES) survey in a quarry site located in Taysan, Batangas for a possible groundwater source.
REAL, QUEZON
The team completed the engineering geological and geohazard assessment at a specific site in Real, Quezon. The video shows the contact boundary between the limestone and the basaltic flows.
LUCBAN, QUEZON PROVINCE
Completed georesistivity (VES) survey for a possible water source in a farm resort located in Lucban, Quezon Province.
STO. TOMAS, BATANGAS CITY
Working on Sunday with our team on the site. #EGGAR #geotechnical #joinsets #slope #pyroclastics
ATIMONAN, QUEZON PROVINCE
Our team is currently mapping for any geological structures or geohazards that can probably cause failures in the site.
SARIAYA, QUEZON PROVINCE
Completed geo-resistivity(VES) survey for a possible water source in a poultry farm located in Brgy. Balubal, Sariaya, Quezon Province.
CALABANGA, CAMARINES SUR
Soil-resistivity survey in Calabanga, Camarines Sur for grounding purposes.
CALABANGA, CAMARINES SUR
Soil thermal conductivity/resistivity test in Calabanga, Camarines Sur. The test is to determine the average conductivity/ resistivity of the ground for grounding purposes of the proposed power plant.
ATIMONAN, QUEZON PROVINCE
Slope face mapping in a proposed power plant in Atimonan, Quezon Province. A Schmidt hammer was used to identify the rock strength, mainly surface hardness and penetration resistance.
BATANGAS CITY
Completed geo-resistivity (VES) survey for a water source in a proposed subdivision located in Brgy. San Jose Sico, Batangas City.
BATANGAS CITY
Engineering geological and geohazard assessment(EGGAR) in a proposed housing in Brgy. San Jose Sico, Batangas City.
SAN MIGUEL, BULACAN
Geo-resistivity(ERT) survey in San Miguel, Bulacan. commissioned by the land owner. The equipment used in the survey is shown below.
CALAPAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO
Geo-resistivity survey in Brgy. Guinobatan, Calapan, Oriental Mindoro for the determination of groundwater presence.
CALAPAN, ORIENTAL MINDORO
Our team completed the Engineering geological and geohazard assessment (EGGA) on a proposed housing located in Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.
ATIMONAN, QUEZON PROVINCE
The team is discussing about the procedures in slope face mapping near the proposed coal-powered plant in Atimonan, Quezon Province.
TINOC, IFUGAO PROV.
Our geophysical survey team in a Solfatara area in Brgy. Tocukan, Tinoc in Ifugao Province. Solfataras are steam coming out to the surface and indicative of the heat coming from a heat source underneath the ground. This is usually an indication of a probable geothermal system, which could be tapped for geothermal energy.
TINOC, IFUGAO
Extensive hydrothermally altered grounds and solfataras are usually indicators of a good potential geothermal power prospect. Geothermal energy is one of the Philippines' clean/renewable energy sources. Surveyed by our geothermal team in Tinoc, Ifugao.
ROXAS, MINDORO
Geological assessment of the reserve of a gravel and sand quarry in Brgy. San Mariano, Roxas, Mindoro with the use of a backhoe in test pitting the river bed and the river bank.
SARIAYA, QUEZON
Geo-resistivity(VES) Survey in Barangay Sampaloc II, Sariaya, Quezon to determine the presence of groundwater, its depth, and quantity.
TINOC-BUGUIAS
Continuation of the Magneto-Telluric survey in the Tinoc-Buguias area by the geophysical survey team.
BUGUIAS, BENGUET PROVINCE
Continuing the MT survey on the remaining ten stations in Buguias, Benguet Province. Getting the in-situ strength of rocks with the use of a Schmidt Hammer for an engineering geological survey. Results are expressed in MPa.
TINOC, IFUGAO
Magneto-Telluric survey of the team in Tinoc, Ifugao.
TINOC-BUGUIAS, IFUGAO
Negotiating the winding, narrow, wet, slippery, and landslide-prone road towards Tinoc, Ifugao to conduct Magneto-Telluric(MT) Survey for a geothermal prospect. The road from Tinoc to Buguias is now considered as the highest elevation in the Philippine Highway System at 2428.66m above sea level. Looking for a cold, foggy, damp, and windy place? This is it.
